
DaimlerChrysler ROI Employee Team Builder
When Daimler merged with Chrysler, in order to gain team cohesiveness, management left this team-building gift on each desk. Employees were encouraged to play with these interlocking building blocks and symbolically think about the ways they could interact with one another within the new combined structure. Attributes that lead to a “Return on Imagination” (a play on Investment) were: Idea; intelligence; illumination; initiative; invention; impact; insight, etc. We were told these tinker toy building blocks were fun and interactive and served as an icebreaker.
