Thinking Design
“Thinking Design” is a promotional piece for Skidmore Studios. The studio, founded in the 60s, still employed designers and illustrators, an unusual skill set that they wanted to celebrate and showcase. How better than to brand them as thinkers, doers and problem solvers?
The book had a cloth binding, held by rivets, French folds to allow different paper types, tip-ins, rounded corners and thermography on the cover. In the back was an envelope to hold various design samples. This won numerous awards and was published In Print Magazine’s Regional Design Annual.
