The Detroit Symphony Orchestra wanted to grow their unrestricted endowment in order to position themselves as continued leaders in the cultural life of Detroit. They wanted us to create a comprehensive leave-behind publication that would educate past and future donors about the organization’s vast outreach within Metropolitan Detroit as well as programming and the general well-being of this venerable Detroit institution… all during Covid! This 60 page book has high production values, featuring an embossed, foil stamped cover and back pocket and short-sheets showcasing important donors throughout the years.
The main graphic is a digital depiction of sound waves which reinforces the energy behind the music and serves as a talking point in development discussions. We’ve been told this piece has been a successful vehicle for growth in their fundraising, and we say great! We’re proud that it’s been so well received it is going to be published in Graphic Design USA.
